About Wiloma Green Foundation

Wiloma Green Foundation is a non-governmental organization established with Headquarters at the Department of Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. The activities of WFG include research, development, training and dissemination of renewable energy technologies for environmentally cleanliness and aesthetics, agricultural sustainability, climate change and the mitigation, socio-economic empowerment of people. The activities also extend to dissemination of renewable energy devices for industrial and economic growth. Through WGF programmes, local youths, women, farmers and unemployed are trained on the use of appropriate alternative and renewable energy technologies for domestic and industrial applications, and agricultural processing, handling, storage and economic enhancement while at the same time training system fabricators as service providers.

(ii) Create awareness of the benefits of green energy technologies to humanity, environment and overall development
(iii) Reduce carbon footprint through the use of green energy technologies
(iv) Build capacity support for basic skill acquisition necessary for climate change mitigation
(v) Economic empowerment of youths and women through the use of green energy technologies and applications for agricultural and industrial processing activities
(vi) Eradicate poverty among the poorest through green energy education Train local farmers on the use of renewable energy technologies for improved crops and animal yields.
